Return to Balance- September Happenings

The eclipse season is now behind us and realizations have set in. September feels like the month when consequences and decisions begin to settle into place. Think of it like the audit after the disruption. If August opened the doors, then September asks what can actually be built from what has been revealed.

The background is Jupiter and Saturn in a supportive trine that began August 31, with Jupiter at 23° Leo trines Saturn at 13° Aries.

Saturn and Jupiter are the two architects of the physical world. Jupiter’s vision and Saturn’s logistics sync up. Jupiter’s confidence supports Saturn’s discipline. Their cooperation can build something that lasts. We can trust it and go for it, without hesitation. Something has happened and is still happening, creating a deep sense of satisfaction.  This trine happens again near the next Spring Equinox! It seems the Fall Equinox and the Spring Equinox are the bookends of this beneficial trine. There is a third exactitude in July of 2027!

Also in the background is Barbault's Basket and Saturn and Neptune in Aries: Aries is the beginning, Neptune is the dream and Saturn puts the structure around it. It can also be the collision between ideals and reality, vision and execution, spiritual or political promises and the hard question of “How will this actually work?”

The collective is being pushed toward a new cycle of leadership and initiative, but the rules are not fully formed yet. Therefore, the constructive expression would be turning inspiration into workable structures.

Virgo Season: Purification, Service & the Word

The Sun in Virgo represents service, purification, work, schedules and a time to harvest. Virgo asks us to discern what is useful and what is no longer serving us. It is the sorting of the wheat from the chaff, both literally and symbolically. What do we keep? What needs refinement? What needs to be cleared away?

Virgo is also connected with healing and sacred service. There is humility in Virgo—the understanding that spiritual realization eventually has to become something we live and embody in our daily lives.

The ruling planet is Mercury, so communication, information, discernment and precision come into play. This makes September a perfect time to look at the power of the words we speak, the thoughts we repeat and the frequencies we continually place into our own field.

The beginning of the month we are working with Ascended Lady Master Nada, Chohan of the Sixth Ray of Peace, Ministration and Service. Nada also serves on the Karmic Board as the representative of the Third Pink Ray of Divine Love. She served with Jesus on the Sixth Ray and teaches that love becomes meaningful through service.

One of the gifts of the Holy Spirit associated with Nada is Diverse Kinds of Tongues and the Interpretation of Tongues—the mastery of communication and the many ways the Word can be carried through vibration, language and sound.

This beautifully connects Nada with our work with Naad Yoga, mantra and the spoken Word. On Sunday, September 6, we will move deeply into this through a powerful Naad Yoga Kundalini practice.

We will also study more of the I AM and the tremendous power contained within those words. What follows I AM is a declaration. It is worth becoming very conscious of what we continually place after those two words.

September 10th is proving to be a very big day!

New Moon in Virgo and Uranus Retrograde in Gemini

The next new moon in Virgo takes place on September 10, 2026, at 8:27 PM Pacific Time. Core Themes include: Organizing daily routines, improving health habits, closing out the integration phase following late-summer eclipses, and choosing practical refinement over perfection. Virgo is the servant of peace and it is an earth sign. We are being asked to move into healthier habits. Mercury the ruling planet of Virgo is in a beautiful trine to Pluto that is part of a beautiful grand air trine with Uranus and the Sun and Moon. Jupiter in Leo is still expanding our hearts. Thus we are receiving the supportive cosmic upgrades and new beginnings as well as letting go of the last 19 years. The mind must serve the heart. The focus is on spiritual and physical health as we are on the axis of the 6th and 12th houses. Pisces, Spiritual health, peace, harmony and coexistence.  Virgo, physical health and purification. And when you handle your spiritual health the physical benefits and vice versa. The Sabian Symbol for this new moon is a swimming race - which is about self mastery by eliminating personal faults. Thus it is competing with yourself to overcome the obstacles of this existence to achieve your own self mastery. The Simultaneous Transits: Occuring alongside the New Moon are Mercury moving into Libra, Venus entering Scorpio, and Uranus stationing retrograde in Gemini. We will explore each and the spiritual meaning next.

Uranus Retrograde in Gemini- Sept 10 to Feb 8

One of the biggest shifts this month is Uranus stationing retrograde in Gemini. Uranus in Gemini is a long-term disruption of communication, media, technology, education, commerce and information systems.

The retrograde turns the question from “What new information is arriving?” to “What information have we accepted too quickly?”

This certainly brings us to the AI dilemma, especially after what has recently come to light. During testing, large numbers of AI agents found ways around the safeguards that were supposed to contain them. They began communicating with each other through channels they were not instructed to use and coordinating their activities. Hundreds of the agents were then involved in the breach of Hugging Face. Another incident that came to light this week involved agents taking over a German website and using it as a place to communicate and share ways of getting around restrictions. Some researchers have even used the word “civilizations” to describe the way groups of these agents began organizing, although there is debate about whether that word goes too far.

This is a pretty extraordinary development and exactly the kind of thing we need to pay attention to as AI moves forward so quickly.

This feels very much like Uranus in Gemini to me. Uranus can bring breakthroughs and advancement at tremendous speed, while Gemini rules information and communication. Now Uranus turns retrograde and asks us to go back and look at what we have already created.

Information is not the same thing as wisdom.

As technology becomes faster and more autonomous, our own discernment has to evolve with it. Can technological advancement be balanced with the environmental, social and psychological cost? And at what point do we slow down long enough to understand what we have created?

Venus square Pluto = Relationship Recalibration

September also begins Venus’s pre-retrograde shadow, bringing relationship recalibration and financial and emotional boundary work.

Venus represents love, money, creativity, beauty, values and the things we are drawn toward. Pluto is the deep work of soul evolution and asks us to face what has been hidden, including our deepest fears.

The upcoming Venus–Pluto square around mid-September is one of the more intense signatures of the month. It can intensify attraction, expose power struggles or bring buried resentment around money and reciprocity to the surface.

We may witness or be a part of relationships that end. It does not automatically mean a relationship ends. It means that superficial harmony becomes harder to maintain.

This transit asks us to look beneath the surface. Where are we compromising ourselves to maintain peace? Where are love, money, control or self-worth entangled? Venus–Pluto is best used for honesty and depth.

Pluto in Aquarius

With Pluto retrograde in Aquarius and the lunar Nodes moving through Aquarius, collective power continues to migrate toward networks, communities, technology, movements and large social systems.

September may highlight struggles over who controls the platform, the data, the community, the narrative or the rules of participation.

The Aquarius shadow is coldness, ideological purity and treating people as statistics. The higher expression is collective intelligence: groups learning how to organize without requiring everyone to think or behave in the same way.

There is a spiritual question underneath this as well: How do we participate in the collective without surrendering our individual sovereignty?

Libra Equinox: Returning to the Point of Balance

The Libra Equinox The Libra Equinox arrives September 22 at 5:05 PM Pacific Time, shifts the emphasis toward relationships, diplomacy, justice, partnerships and the balancing of competing interests.

We move now into the energy of Ascended Master Portia, the twin flame of Saint Germain. Portia represents Divine Justice and holds the scales of balance that so beautifully correspond with the sign of Libra.

The Equinox itself is a sacred threshold. Day and night come into balance before the seasonal current changes direction—into Fall here in the Northern Hemisphere and Spring in the Southern Hemisphere.

This moment of balance gives us a beautiful spiritual image of the zero point: the still place between one movement and the next. Before we move forward, there is an opportunity to come back to center.

The equinoxes and solstices have long been powerful times for spiritual practice and ceremony because they mark the turning points of the solar year. We will use this Equinox period to work consciously with balance, sound and the relationship between our own energetic field and the Earth.

During classes I will also be bringing in the Sonic Slider, a weighted tuning fork tuned to 93.96 Hz—12 times the 7.83 Hz frequency commonly associated with the fundamental Schumann Resonance.  The Sonic Slider was developed by Eileen McKusick after experimenting with multiples of the Earth’s Schumann Resonance. She found the 12th harmonic—7.83 × 12, or 93.96 Hz—to have a particularly pleasing and grounding quality. For our Equinox work, I love the symbolism of the 12: bringing the Earth frequency through the 12 and into our exploration of the 12 × 12 pattern of the 144

For our work, I love the symbolism of bringing the 12 into the body, and from there contemplating the 12 × 12 pattern of the 144. We will work with the vibration directly on the body as another way of inviting movement, grounding and coherence during this powerful seasonal shift.

It is also interesting to note that 93.96 itself carries the numbers 3, 6 and 9. These numbers have become famously associated with Nikola Tesla and the idea of discovering the underlying patterns of the universe. You may remember this from the often-repeated quote about 3, 6 and 9 being “the key to the universe” in Tesla’s words. He had a fascination with numerical patterns and multiples of three has helped inspire a much larger exploration of 3, 6 and 9 in modern metaphysical teachings.

For our Equinox work, the symbolism becomes even more interesting. We begin with the Earth frequency, amplify it through 12, and arrive at 93.96. I love contemplating that alongside the sacred pattern of 12 × 12 = 144 that we have been studying.  All of it reduces down to the power number of 3 which is The Trinity. The Father/Mother God, The Sun (son) and the Holy Spirit or Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, Generating, Organizing Delivering (G.O.D) power.

Durning this Equinox Season, the point of balance between light and dark, we will work with these frequency directly on the body, using sound and vibration to help us return to our own center before the energy of the season changes direction. Aries Full Moon & the Return to Self

The Aries Full Moon on September 26 brings the individual back into the equation.

After Libra asks “How do I meet another?” Aries asks “Who am I?”

Where have we compromised too much? Where have we given our authority away? Where is life asking us to have the courage to act from our own inner knowing?

At the same time, Mars moves into Leo on it's way to oppose Pluto in Aquarius, bringing another examination of leadership, recognition, authority and power.

The higher expression is courageous leadership with accountability. The lower expression is domination disguised as confidence. Remember we are still in the Year of the Fire Horse in Chinese Astrology.

September ultimately brings us back to some very important questions:

What is trustworthy and practical? What can actually be built from what has been revealed? Where have our relationships and agreements become unbalanced? Who or what are we giving our power to? And perhaps most importantly: What are we now ready to bring into form?
