October is for Jedi Training
The beginning of October has the potential to be very challenging. Two oppositions and two square aspects involve the malefic planets, Pluto, Mars and Saturn and a Venus retrograde in Scorpio indicate tension, hardship, crisis and conflict. It marks the perfect opportunity for Jedi Training. Let's dive into it.
Bet you though eclipse season was over and we were clear. Well, the first half of month Jupiter is going back over that 20° of Leo where we had the Aug 12 total solar eclipse. Please look back to that time. What was happening Aug. 12th? In your life. And not just Jupiter, but also Mars will traverse over it expanding the fiery energy of Mars and Leo!!! Remember, It was a big, big new moon that is being re-activated.
On October 3rd, Venus moved retrograde in Scorpio, creating her 5-pointed star motion like she did 8 years ago. This is Inanna, Sumerian Goddess of love, war and sex, goes into the underworld. Abuse, power and control with regards to the feminine is the theme here. A short interpretation of the astrology is that Inanna went into the underworld represented by Scorpio and was stripped of all her power, dignity, hung by a meat hook, and eventually was left to die. A trusted advisor rallied her troops to save her as her husband sat on the throne, partying and entirely happy that she was out of the way. When she returns home after being pulled back to life, the gods of the underworld demand a replacement- as nobody leaves the underworld once they have entered- so she gives them her husband as a replacement.
Needless to say this 3 month transit is Intense and very emotional and Venus won’t be out of this shadow until Jan 7th. Scorpio is ruled by Pluto which is a symbol of power. So collectively we can potentially see more masculine, feminine power struggles. It has to do with relationships, love, money, creativity. It is in the house of secrets and deep entanglements with others. Scorpio is also a money house- so money secrets being revealed. However, It is the house of other people’s money, shared resources, investments, taxes, will, inheritances. It can be very rough if it is in the 5th or 7th houses for you. Also, it can be rough if you have any planets 0-5 degrees of the fixed signs. Power issues in relationships will show up as the square to Pluto is related to control over another person. Abuse of power, betrayal and trust issues come up. Because Venus is conjunct Haumea and Scorpio is also a sexual sign, issues with 2nd chakra, fertility, womb stuff arise or are exacerbated.
Black Moon Lilith in Capricorn, sitting at one of the world axis points is squarring Neptune in Aries. This uncompromising Divine Feminine power is challenging the Patriarchy! . She will not submit. She was thrown out of the Garden of Eden for not submitting to Adam. Think primal feminine RAGE!
A big T square is coming with Mars in Leo (big drama) and Pluto in Aquarius – Individual vs. corporate or government. power. There is a new moon on Oct 10 at 17’21’ of Libra- Libra is a sign of balance- she is linked to the Law- Saturn is very happy in Libra. And with Venus in Scorpio it is about balancing polarities, especially feminine and masculine power dynamics. This moon opposes Salacia- living liquid light shimmering on the ocean in the sunlight. Also structured water and how it carries more light. She is mermaid energy.
This new moon is in a harmonious trine to Chariklo who is the wife of Chiron and the only one who could sooth him. She has a buddha like nature. Also in the chart is a Yod between Ixion (rebellion sovereignty) quincunx Uruanus (lasts until 2028) but the Yod is a sextile with Mars! Ixion is highlighted here and he is like the Honey Badger (he doesn't give a shit!). He is going to follow his own, often mishevious path The new moon opposes The new moon opposes Saturn in Aries. Mars, the ruler of Aries is moving through Leo. Aries and Leo are the two signs that are all about Sovereignty; Aries = I Am, Leo= I Reign and I Shine! The Sabian Symbol for New Moon is - Two men placed under arrest, giving accountability for their actions before a tribunal of society. Seems appropriate....
It is Guru Ram Das’ birthday on Oct. 9th, and it is no accident that we are having our orientation for The Ascension Pathway Teacher Training on that day. In anticipation of that we will be working with Five Special Shabads in Praise of Guru Ram Das and other Guru Ram Das’ mantras to deal with these Venus retrograde in Scorpio square Pluto vibes. Also Chiron and Eris in Aries opposing the Libra Sun- revisiting wounds. One of the mantras is Ardas Bhayee. This is a very special mantra with Guru Ram Das and his Guru, the 3rd Sikh Guru Amar Das. It is used to alleviate unbearable suffering.
Oct. 16th Pluto stations direct. Pluto big, money, power, intrigue, manipulation, fears, struggles. This is where that 0-5 degrees come in to highlight imbalances in domination of power. Anyone going through a Pluto transit feels it intensely for 1 ½ years and then it lets up a bit. I remember in 2012 when Pluto was opposing my natal moon and I literally shut down physically and emotionally and had to quit working in the corporate world. The universe was pointing me in a different direction. The life I was living was no longer sustainable and not my dharma path.
October 17, the Sun will conjunct Arcturus. Edgar Cayce spoke about Arcturus decades ago and described it as an important gateway or way-station associated with movement beyond our solar system. In the Ascension Teachings, Arcturus is associated with the Violet Flame and the Seventh Ray. Arcturus and Victoria are the Elohim of the Seventh Ray of freedom, mercy, forgiveness, transmutation and alchemy. Saint Germain is the Chohan of this Ray and Hierarch of the Aquarian Age. He works under the guidance of his guru, the Great Divine Director and the House of Rakoczy. The Great Divine Director is the Manu of the Seventh Root Race, which is destined to come forth during the Aquarian Age and Seventh-Ray dispensation, with its first wave carrying the flame of God's Holy Will. It is believed that this race will eventually develop in South America.
In the Arcturian teachings of Norma Milanovich, Arcturus is described as enveloped in violet light, with the violet frequency identified with the Seventh Ray and our connection to Universal Intelligence. The Arcturians are described as highly advanced beings assisting Earth's ascension and are often referred to as intergalactic healers. Tom Kenyon and Judi Sion also connect Sanat Kumara with the Arcturians in The Arcturian Anthology. However, Sanat Kumara and the 7 Holy Kumaras are widely thought to orginate from Venus.
We can use this Sun–Arcturus alignment as a point of meditation on the larger Seventh-Ray cycle: purification of the past, freedom from karmic patterns, alignment with Divine Will and preparation for a new cycle of consciousness.
In classes this month, we will work with recordings from Tom Kenyon and Judi Sion's The Arcturian Anthology, including The Nakura, an Arcturian sound exploration for exploring alternate realities and other dimensions of consciousness, and the Arcturian Re-genesis Sound Meditation, which focuses on energetic restoration.
October 24th, right before the Taurus full moon the Sun meets with Venus at 0 degrees Scorpio and even though it is the beginning of the sign, it may represent and ending of that cycle. Collectively we will see big money power struggles. Perhaps issues with Crypto as Aquarius rules technology. On Wednesday Oct. 25ththe Full Hunter’s Moon happens at 2°46’of Taurus. Come to class that day and learn what house this lands in for you. Taurus is about comfort, stability, groundedness, the earth, food and in its lower expression, stubbornness, bull headedness and gluttony. Tauran's are hard working and tenacious. Themes around money, relationships, self-worth, security, home, work, pleasure, and emotional stability will surface. Taurans love much and suffer much because they go through great amounts of deception.
This aligns very much with what the collective will be feeling 3 days later on the 28th with Venus opposes Chiron and Eris, squared by Pluto. This is another T-square coming with Venus and Chiron. The wounded feminine. Remember the divine feminine is in all of us. It is the qualities of love, and we can all feel love, compassion and receptivity. Again the balance of power needs to be re-calibrated in all of us and in society. Pluto in Aquarius in the early years shows the recognition of the imbalance of power and a shift back to the power to the people. Pluto in Aqarius is a catalyst. It has to go through its transformation like a caterpillar in the chrysalis.
Remember, Pluto is still out of bounds (periods of greater revolution) There are revolutions happening like in France and other countries, but we do not see them broadcast here. And this is by design.
Here's the Haps for October
NEW MOON IN LIBRA • KUNDALINI YOGA
Sunday, October 11 • 9:30-11 AM. ONLY 4 SPACES IN PERSON
This New Moon in Libra brings us into the energy of balance, relationship and right alignment. With Venus in Scorpio, we will look more deeply at the balance between the masculine and feminine within us; where we hold our power, where we give it away, and how we come back into equilibrium.
There is also a beautiful connection to water and light with this New Moon opposing Salacia. Salacia carries the imagery of living liquid light. She is mermaid energy and is represented by sunlight shimmering across the surface of the ocean. At the same time, aspects to Chariklo, wife of Chiron, brings a quiet, buddha like healing presence.
In our Kundalini practice we will work with the Radiant Body and the Tattvas, with special attention to Apas, the Water element. Water is so healing and governs flow, emotion, relationship and the sacral energies. We will use breath, movement, meditation and sound to bring the elements back toward balance and allow more light to move through the field. Bring your favorite water vessel to to bless.

FULL MOON IN TAURUS - Wednesday, October 25 | 9:30 AM
The Full Hunter’s Moon brings our attention to the places in life where we seek comfort, stability and security. Taurus connects us to the Earth, the body, food, money, home, relationships, pleasure and self-worth. It can also show us where we have become too comfortable, resistant to change or attached to what feels safe.
Come to class Wednesday morning and learn what house 2° Taurus falls in for you and where this Full Moon is activating your own chart.
We will also look at the larger theme developing around Venus, Chiron, Eris and Pluto and the healing and recalibration of the feminine principle. The Divine Feminine lives within all of us through our capacity for love, compassion and receptivity.
With Pluto now moving through Aquarius, questions of power—who has it, where we give it away, and how it is being redistributed—continue to come forward individually and collectively.
