Precipice of a New Reality

We are at the precipice of a new reality! Can you feel it coming? As one of my favorite singers, Ajeet Kaur, croons in one of her songs called Bloom, “I can feel it comin’, I feel it in my bones, there’s a new day rising 'cause we are letting go…”. We are officially shedding the snake skin of 2025 from now until February 17! With the Chinese New Year of the Fire Horse and the Saturn–Neptune conjunction at 0°Aries, known as the Creator Point of the zodiac we are ready for lifting off.
In 2026 the Fire Horse rides in as a rare archetype of wild, free, initiating fire—the soul’s steed that refuses to be domesticated. In the Chinese wheel the Horse already carries themes of freedom, movement, courage, and radical self-expression; when you add the Fire element it becomes a timeline-jumper: burning through stagnant contracts, false identities, and systems that no longer fit. It’s the Tibetan “wind horse” of the spirit made visible—fast, disruptive, purifying—pushing us out of roles we’ve outgrown and into more authentic paths, even if that means a few controlled burns along the way.
Overlay that with Tantric Numerology: a 10 year—the Radiant Body and amplified new beginnings—and you get a very specific spiritual assignment. Ten is the crown of the cycle. It is the Soul Body amplified. So Fire Horse + 10 Year is about riding that freedom horse onto your dharma path with the courage of a fearless leader. It says, “You’ve completed something; now live the truth of who you are in your radiance." Anything that dims your aura—people-pleasing, addiction, old vows of invisibility—will feel intolerable. This year asks for authenticity and bravery.
The Saturn Neptune Conjunction directly after on February 20, starts a new dream that is being birthed over the next three years. Saturn builds structures and puts in the hard work, and Neptune is the dream unmanifest. We are building out our greatest dreams for the New Earth that is being birthed through us. It is not someplace we’re going to in the future—it is here, now, in each one of our hearts.
The personal planets (Mercury, Mars, Venus, and the Sun) are moving out of late Capricorn and into Aquarius. And here’s why this Aquarius season hits differently: these planets and the Sun are all conjunct Pluto as Neptune shifts signs this week. Because of this, we can already feel the world changing—especially around government and financial systems. But Pluto in Aquarius is the long game: it started dipping into the sign back in November 2024, and now we’re in this extended stretch of the transit through January 2044. Aquarius is about innovation, community, and hopes, dreams, and wishes for the future. With Pluto here for the next 18 years, it suggests a slow-moving transition towards, a fairer structure of governments, organizations and economic systems for society. Pluto is power, secrets, fear, phobia, truth revelations, and money. Pluto rules Scorpio and the underworld revealing hidden secrets.
Venus with Pluto can correlate with intense reality checks around money, values, and currency themes. Mercury with Pluto is classic “the truth comes out” energy—hidden information, uncomfortable facts, deeper motives revealed, and powerful words. Then the Sun conjunct Pluto this week can spotlight power struggles. Add Mars to the conjunction next week and it can bring huge drive and determination which is amazing for focused action, but collectively it can also show up as forceful, high-pressure events. With the Moon connecting to Uranus around the same window, the overall vibe leans revolutionary—Aquarius wants freedom, human rights, civil rights, and real equality. The shadow side is that early Pluto in Aquarius can also trigger big tensions around science, technology, AI, and disconnection, because Aquarius rules this territory as well. Thus it’s a powerful moment: breakthroughs and awakenings on one side, and pressure-testing of the systems of old on the other.
With Jupiter still in Cancer (ruled by the Moon) until June 30, 2026, themes of home, emotional security, and the mother aspect are amplified. Watch for issues especially on the left side of the body. The Moon has a connection with the color silver. And we have seen the price of silver rise steadily through January. As silver is more and more essential for industry, tech, and especially the infrastructure behind AI and data centers, it makes sense that it could keep rising. Later in the year, when Jupiter moves into Leo, that can tilt the value more toward gold (Leo and the color gold go together, as Leo’s ruling planet is the Sun). Therefore, gold could get another boost. Either way, the bigger message is: volatility may stick around in the financial markets, and there’s even chatter about the possibility of an AI/tech “bubble” forming, similar to earlier eras when similar astrology lined up with tech booms.
This week, with Neptune entering Aries for the first time in 165 years, it feels like a green light for spiritual sovereignty, choosing clarity and truth. And with Saturn on approach, it is building something tangible from the vision. However, the last time Neptune was in Aries, we had the Civil War in the USA. As mentioned above, the stellium of personal planets conjunct Pluto this week and into the weekend, with a feisty Moon in Aries on Sunday, signals revolution, freedom, power issues, and more uprisings. Whenever inequality becomes too great, we get an extreme imbalance and the tipping point is reached. It is like an unstoppable energetic shift. Those only hanging out in 3D will just see the world around them crumbling, and it will be VERY uncomfortable.
Bye-bye, Wood Snake!
We are in the last phase of the snake year—the final shed of the old skin—as we watch everything not in alignment with our soul purpose fall away and dissolve. These last couple weeks are feeling quite intense spiritually, emotionally, and physically. We may feel things getting stripped away from our lives that affect our stability, with Uranus at the very last degree of Taurus. We are witnessing what looks like society slowly crumbling in its various aspects. We are feeling threats of a world war. We are witnessing a redrawing of the lines, as superpower nations are positioning themselves to invade, acquire, and protect. The USA, Russia, China, Israel—all making plays to expand their territory. We are seeing distressing scenes of freedom fighters protesting in Iran for their freedom and sovereignty.
Pluto in Aquarius is bringing up our greatest fears, but remember: Pluto is not just death and fear. Pluto is transformation. Watch here where I spoke about this week’s transits in our last class.

Pluto will be in Aquarius for the next 18 years! Therefore, this is not a quick transit. The last time Pluto was here was the year 1798. We must get prepared for a dismantling and transformation for whatever it touches. Depending on what house this falls in for you personally, this is where the dissolving and transformation is happening. If it is in the 6th house, it is health or job-related issues; if it is the 7th house, it is relationships of all kinds.
On Jan 27: Mars, Pluto and the Moon conjunct Uranus. This is a forceful day of power to the people. This is a big shift into Air and Fire as the Fire Horse year births—fast, vigorous, clear, truth and freedom. If you have any planets at 2–6 degrees, you are really going to be feeling the transformation—especially if these placements are in Leo, Aquarius, Scorpio, or Taurus. The Sabian Symbol for this degree of Pluto in Aquarius is: “A Hindu yogi demonstrates his healing powers… The disciplined use of spiritual energies in restoring the natural harmony that is disturbed by man’s inharmonic attempts to transcend nature through mind.” Thus the yogi who practices consistently is not only able to help himself through transitions and transformation, but can assist others with the focusing of spiritual energy.
The message is clear to practice Kundalini yoga and meditation and use your practice to stay in neutrality, stability, and higher mind. Do something daily to raise your frequency. Remember we have the long-running Magic Triangle with Pluto, Neptune, and Uranus that I have written about previously. (See LIbra Season blog from Sept.27, 2005).

On February 1st we have a Full Moon in Leo – themes around Leo are leadership, royalty, big love and courage. Leo is sun energy and golden light. This is happening at 13 degrees with Mars is at the midpoint of Pluto and the Sun. This translates to aggressive and powerful leadership. Venus still in Aquarius, is love and empathy for humanity. The Leo full moon reminds us to drop back into the heart energy as this is where the New Age emerges. The sun will shine a light on the house you need to bring more love, royal courage and sovereignty to. The shadow side is service to self, entitlement and “it’s all about me” energy. It is very self-centered rather than is service to others. Join us to focus on heart based love and service to humanity.. We will practice during the full moon almost at it’s exactitude on Sunday at 9:30 am. Included in memberships.
