Equinox, Full Moon in Aries, Kundalini Intensives and more

Back during the Spring Equinox, when we entered a significant stretch of time where all or mostly all of the planets were sitting in air and fire signs. This continues now and we are feeling the heat. I not just the heat wave we experienced in the last couple weeks, but in our personal, emotional lives as well. We have Mars exiting Cancer at the end of the month and Venus has entered Scorpio. Thus the only planet besides the moon touching any water will be Venus and she is sitting at her detriment in the most intense sign of the zodiac ruled by Pluto! Not only that she is making a square with transformational Pluto in Aquarius. Venus wants love, comfort, light, casual, and sweet connections, Pluto is power, coersion, fear, manipulation, fear and the transformation of the Phoenix rising. Pluto in Aquarius is exposing the dark side of that sign such as AI issues with humanity but also the demand for freedom from old outdated structures and institutions. While Scorpio demands deep, intense, and absolute truth!
Add to all this, on October 3 she goes retrograde. This is a once in every 8 year transit. Think of what you were doing and who you were involved with 8 years ago. Did something start that is not working out? Did you have a crazy wild love affair. Did you think you met your twin flame and learned after the transit, how mistaken you were. Well we are here again, and it is not just a revisit of 8 years ago. Go back to 2018, 2010, 1992 and keep going in 8 year increments to reveal what you are working with. Think themes of Eris, or Black Moon Lilith, the scorned feminine, the one betrayed or left out. The one demanding justice and the one who will not be silenced. We will witness many truths coming to the surface, as Scorpio rules hidden things. We will watch relationships break up, secret love affairs being exposed and corruption come to light. We are going to feel our second chakra sexual and relationship wounding. It is going to be a firey five months to say the least
Venus isn't the only one that will be retrograde. She is going to join Uranus, Saturn, Neptune, Pluto and Chiron who has just returned to Aries reigniting the wound of self. Are we done with being the victim yet? This has been another 8 year transit! Chiron will have us review and ideally heal this aspect of ourselves until mid April 2027.
Mercury is opposing Saturn on the 18th and Uranus retrograde at 5 degrees Gemini equals restlessness, agitation, wanting freedom from a stale routine or relationship. If you have any planets 4-7 degrees of Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo or Pisces, you are really feeling it!
You may be asking, Why we are seeing so much crazy weather and flooding if most of the planets are in air and fire signs?" The answer lies in the unexpected changes Uranus is famous for and a square it has formed with the fixed Star Prima Hyadum. According to the Astrology KIng, "The Hyades are known as “the Rainy Stars” and bring tears, storms and floods. The Chinese equivalent of the Hyades is the asterism Bi the Net, “ the rain master of heaven,” causing heavy rain and blocked roads. With Uranus, this could mean flash floods, dam failures, hurricanes." And this is what we have been seeing not only with the devastation in Nepal and Tibet but in other areas of the world as well, including the Grand Canyon, AZ.
You don't have to believe in astrology. It is happening whether you believe it or not! All we can do is practice as much as possible to come into alignment and have the awareness to direct our own astrology path. When you are centered in the practice and you know the positive and negative elements of each planet and sign, then your awareness is expanded towards your higher self and that level of perspective around what it happening. From there you have the choice to act. I recently was speaking to a man who practiced with us over 8 years ago at the old studio in Oceanside. He had to return home to care for his elderly parents. He said he longs for the time when he had the space and luxury to practice Kundalini Yoga. Now he has no privacy, space or time to devote to his practice. His advice was to never take it for granted. This life is a gift and this practice is a blessing. Cherish both.

The Libra Equinox The Libra Equinox arrives and we are gathering! The emphasis remains on relationships, diplomacy, justice, partnerships and the balancing of competing interests. We move now into the energy of Ascended Master Portia, the twin flame of Saint Germain. Portia represents Divine Justice and holds the scales of balance that so beautifully correspond with the sign of Libra. In Sikhism, Guru Ram Das, the 4th Sikh Guru, represents that point of balance, love and service. We are entering the 11 days around Guru Ram Das's birthday and will bring in his beautiful healing energy during this special class.
He is the embodiment of Christos Consciousness. Guru Ram Das, 4th Sikh Guru, number 4 in Numerology and the centeredness of the heart chakra. Guru Ram Das manta has an incredible way of opening the heart chakra.
Guru Ram Das Jayanti is traditionally celebrated globally on October 9th (with some regional or Nanakshahi calendar observances falling on September 25, 2026).
Within the Kundalini and Sikh traditions, the 11 days leading up to his birthday (beginning September 28th) are historically dedicated to global chanting. Devotees often practice the "Guru Guru Wahe Guru, Guru Ram Das Guru" mantra for 31 minutes a day to clear obstacles, invoke emotional healing, and cultivate deep peace.
The Equinox is the zero point where day and night come into balance before the seasonal current changes direction. It is the beginning of Fall here in the Northern Hemisphere and Spring in the Southern Hemisphere. This moment of zero point balance represents the still place between one movement and the next, the space between heart beat. The unstruck melody of Anahat.
The equinoxes and solstices have long been knows as the most powerful times for spiritual practice and ceremony because they mark the turning points of the solar year. We will use this Equinox period to work consciously with balance, sound and the relationship between our own energetic field and the Earth. Aries Full Moon & the Return to Self
The Aries Full Moon on September 26 brings the individual back into the equation.
After Libra asks “How do I meet another?” Aries asks “Who am I?”
Where have we compromised too much? Where have we given our authority away? Where is life asking us to have the courage to act from our own inner knowing?
A Finger of God involving Uranus, Ixion, Venus and the Moon on the World Axis points toward revelations and sudden disclosures. Ixion can bring attention to betrayal, broken agreements and actions previously hidden from view. Black Moon Lilith square Neptune, combined with Venus in Scorpio, intensifies the demand for truth and may illuminate buried relationship wounds, power imbalances and the shadow side of established authority. At the same time, Mars moves into Leo on it's way to oppose Pluto in Aquarius, bringing another examination of leadership, recognition, authority and power.
The higher expression is courageous leadership with accountability. The lower expression is domination disguised as confidence.

For the first time, we are opening select weekends of The Ascension Pathway Training to anyone who wants to experience the teachings without committing to the full training. Come for a day or join for the weekend. These are deep immersions into Kundalini Yoga, kriya, pranayama, mantra, meditation, sound and the energetic body. Each weekend has a different focus. We’ll explore awakening Kundalini energy, moving prana, the chakras and elements, the 12 Bodies and your energetic blueprint , the Science of Sound & Mantra, healing practices, the Mind and Meditation, and finally integration and mastery. You don't need to want to teach. You may simply want more time in practice or more understanding of what is happening energetically. Perhaps you want tools for working with your own consciousness in a more deliberate way. Whatever the reason, these weekends will prove invaluable. And yes, we are going to move some energy!!!
