🌟 The Cosmic Mid-Point: Navigating Eclipses, Saturn Returns, and the Uranus Wildcard
If your life feels like it is undergoing a massive, unpredictable renovation right now, you are tapping directly into the energy of the current astrology. The cosmic clock is striking a major reckoning hour, bringing a convergence of long-term cycles to a head.
We are navigating a major shift where 18-year chapters are closing and 9-year mid-point adjustments are resetting. Whether this is hitting your personal life, your career, or a business you started years ago, the universe is demanding a structural audit.
Here is why the energy feels so intense and weird, and how to decode it.
The 18-Year and 9-Year Loops
Astrologically, the Lunar Nodes dictate our evolutionary direction, moving backward through the zodiac in an 18.6-year cycle. Meaning 18.6 years ago, the eclipses were in the same place as they are in this particular season.
The 18-Year Reset: This marks the completion of a major developmental chapter. It is a time when old identities, patterns, or long-term containers are cleared away to begin a fresh evolutionary loop. And if you are old enough you can double that and go by the 37 year cycle and so on.
The 9-Year Reality Check: Halfway through that grand journey, we hit a nodal opposition. Think of this as the "Full Moon" phase of a cycle. Decisions, structures, and foundations built 9 years ago are brought into raw, clear light for auditing, course correction, and strategic pivots. So the cycle doesn't close, but it re-adjusts.
🪐 The Saturn Return: Ages 28.5 to 30 and 58.5 to 60
The Saturn Returns are the times when reality demands we mature and step up. Saturn is often considered the harsh teacher who delivers our karma for clearing.
The First Saturn Return (Ages 28–30): This is the definitive exit from youth. It triggers a personal and professional realignment. It is where we build an authentic foundation for adulthood. It often perfectly sets up the 9-year and 18-year cycles that define our prime building years.
The Second Saturn Return (Ages 58–60): Three decades later, we hit the next major gateway. This is the transition from the "building" phase of adulthood into the "elder wisdom" or legacy phase. It is a total life-chart reset, prompting us to ask what we want the next chapter of our freedom to look like.
The 2017 - 2026 Timeline
To see this in action, look back to August 2017. Because we can feel the effects for 6 weeks before and 6 weeks after the fated eclipses you can also look at those periosd. What did you start, launch, or commit to back then? If you own a business incorporated around that time, it is hitting its exact 9-year mid-point right now. Look back through your photos to remind you of happenings you may of forgotten. A perfect example of this was CommuniTea Yoga opening between eclipses on Aug. 11, 2017. And we are re-adjusting quite a bit in this 9 year midpoint. Anyone who has been practicing with us knows how much deeper and more Aquarian these teachings are compared to when we first started.
The 2017 Blueprint (North Node in Leo): Driven by the fiery energy of the 2017 Solar Eclipse, projects, businesses, and personal identities born then were all about bold creative expression, standing out, and individual authority.
The Current Reversal (North Node in Aquarius / South Node in Leo): The current eclipse seasons have completely flipped the mirror. To navigate this 9-year milestone, we are being asked to shed the rigid "Leo" energy, clear out unsustainable vanity projects, and lean into the "Aquarius" collective. Now is about focusing on streamlined infrastructure, automation (AI), network expansion, and community.
⚡ The Uranus Square: Why the Energy Feels So "Weird"
If you are trying to handle these structured 9-year and Saturnian adjustments but feel completely off-balance, you can blame Uranus, the planet of the unexpected.
Right now, Uranus is sitting at a tense square aspect to these eclipse points. Uranus is also the planet of disruption, sudden awakenings, shocks, and unconventional shifts. It rules the sign of Aquarius.
The Grid Disruption: While Saturn and the nodes want us to build steady, deliberate foundations, the Uranus square acts like a cosmic power surge. It makes the timeline feel erratic and unpredictable.
The Plot Twists: Plans made on Monday might feel completely obsolete by Friday. This energy creates an underlying sense of anxiety, weird synchronicities, or sudden, unexpected breaks from the past.
The Purpose: Uranus squares do not disrupt to ruin your plans; they disrupt to prevent you from settling for a boring, outdated version of your life. It forces you to innovate on the spot.
Expect the Unexpected: Be ready to be delighted by opportunities and alignments you never dreamed of, that in a weird way work out beautifully for you.
Thus, whether you are navigating your first Saturn return, your second, or auditing a 9-year-old venture, use these three anchors to stabilize the ship:
Review the Original Vision: Does the mission statement you created 9 years ago (or at your last major milestone) still hold true, or have you entirely outgrown that container?
Shift from "Me" to "We": Evolve your focus away from maintaining a single, rigid identity and toward building collaborative, flexible ecosystems.
Stay consistent in your practice: Connecting with your higher self will help you navigate this current energy.
