Second Full Moon in Capricorn- The Capricorn-Cancer Polarity: Expanding Our Understanding of Power
The end of the month is ushered in by the second full moon in Capricorn. That’s right, sometimes it happens where the full moon or new moon repeats itself in a sign. Unfortunately, here will be no full moon in Cancer this year, providing us comfort and nurturing. This Capricorn full moon is at the very last degree, 29 degrees which is considered the critical degree point. Capricorn, ruled by Saturn, is one of the most misunderstood zodiac signs, largely due to its powerful shadow associated with the abuse of power. This shadow aspect has manifested in our world today through manipulation of laws, abuse of power, censorship, resource constraints, and fear.
However, the complementary qualities of Capricorn and Cancer offer a healthy expression of power. In astrology, we are always learning from the opposite pole of our sign. So Cancer learns from Capricorn and Capricorn learns from Cancer, Libra learns from Aries, etc. This full moon is also square to Neptune at 29 degrees Pisces brining a very spiritual aspect to the forefront. Pluto is also in the mix at zero degrees Aquarius on it's way back into Capricorn for the last time in our lives. Therefore we have Pluto moving back into a Saturn ruled sign. This is the last place we want to go! Nobody wants a repeat of the Covid times, and the lockdowns and all the mental and emotional anguish that came with the tyrannical control and deception of our “leaders”.
This conjunction of the moon and Pluto opposing the Sun and squaring Neptune could prove extremely emotional for many. Pluto is deep seated emotions and fears. It is the underworld and it digs up everything we have been avoiding or were just to fearful to deal acknowledge. With Pluto coming back into a Saturn ruled sign, karma will be highlighted and those that operated out of service to self will be exposed. Those that operated as service to others will be rewarded, and the writing will be on the wall for all to witness. Neptune, not only considered a very spiritual planet, but it’s negative polarity is marked by illusion and delusion, manipulation of facts. It rules the media, movies, all things Hollywood. The love affair with the media This second full moon cycle provides an opportunity to explore both the positive and negative polarities of each planet and sign, allowing us to harness the cardinal (generative) energies effectively.
On a basic level Capricorn is an Earth sign, but with a twist. Capricorn is the Sea goat so water comes in. Pan, the Greek God, trying to escape the monster, tries to change himself into a fish but it only partially successful. Thus he has the head of a goat and the body of a fish! So even though Capricorns are very grounded, they may also try to escape or swim away from the mounting earthly responsibilities and work at hand. Capricorn reminds us to get in our bodies, stay connected to the Earth and do the work. Earth signs are real, tangible, emerge from the earth and are something we can build upon. They remind us to have a strong foundation. Feel into your own body, we come from this Earth, we are made of the elements and spirit. Where is your foundation not solid? Perhaps you have to dig down deep, like Pluto dredging up things we do not want to look at. These things being dug up are for us to see and clear. Full moons on a fundamental level are about releasing. Letting go of the physical, emotional and mental things that are blocking our healing journey. All you must do is be willing to dig deep within, ask with intention and the Universe has a brilliant way of letting you know what is up for your healing. Pay attention to the signs, they will be in plain sight.
This second full moon cycle provides an opportunity to explore both the positive and negative polarities of each planet and sign, allowing us to harness the cardinal (generative) energies effectively. Capricorn's origin traces back to Babylonian times, where it was later given the mythology of the Seagoat. This connection to ancient history ties into the story of the Tower of Babel from Genesis 11:1-9. Here is a passage from our Mystery School Manual “The Tower of Babel in the Bible refers to what we would call today the Stairway to Heaven or the Krystal Spiral. The passage tells of a time when "the whole world had one language and a common speech." The people built a city with a tower that reached to the heavens, aiming to make a name for themselves. But the Lord (perceived god of the time- Marduk) scattered them all over the earth and confused their language, halting the construction.
The word Bab-ilu means gate of the gods. Babel means confusion now. This powerful coded language was spread across the Earth and lost this light language. This theme of humans building the tower to heaven is like the story of the forbidden fruit of Adam and Eve. The Golden Apple embodies the language of living knowledge, a universal language of interconnected energy relationships encoded in every molecule, atom, and element in the matter world. The Tree of Knowledge, containing the sacred language of living knowledge within the Golden Apple, was protected by benevolent Dragon Guardians. This esoteric knowledge became known as the Forbidden Fruit of the Tree of Knowledge, referenced in the Genesis account where Eve, tempted by the serpent (kundalini dragon energy), eats the Forbidden Fruit, leading to the Fall of Humanity. This information begs the question, Was there a single language that was spoken around the world and lost after some kind of flood or cataclysm? Could this language be Anuhazi, light language considered the precursor to all languages and the key to our ascenion into the Golden City of Light”

As a country, The USA is having her Pluto return. Pluto reveals the ugly side of power and corruption. As a people, it is in our DNA to push back against concentrations of power. When too much lands on one side, we have the ability to change it. The constitution guarantees our rights and freedoms of speech and to choose our future trajectory. Pluto returning for this last pass through the critical degrees is dredging up the deepest darkest aspects of our country and how we have ruled, manipulated and abused our Superpower status in the world. It can be incredibly hard to observe and come to terms with. However, once Pluto brings it out, we realize, we are not going to die. It is more of a metaphorical emotional bottom that we hit. And then, the Phoenix rises. All of these symbols, not just Pluto, represent change coming and the ideals of a better future as we progress on our ascension path and step into New Earth, Mother Gaia.

Save the Date for the return of the Tibetan Monks from the Gaden Shartse Monastery. They are returning to India after this final stop in Southern California. We have requested the date of Friday evening August 30thfor the Chay drol, rainbow healing ritual. Chay drol, in Tibetan, means “to make free of obstacles” and is a ritual for removing obstacles that hold us back from achieving enlightenment. This ritual involves a lot of audience participation, including having rainbow yarn, symbolizing negative patterns, wrapped around us. Then the string is ritually cut to symbolize cutting through obstacles that have held us back.
