The first weekend of November opens with a brief but radiant Golden Yod. As the Moon enters Pisces late Saturday November 1, it bridges Venus in Libra and Uranus in Gemini — an emotional reset that re-tunes the field into golden harmonic coherence. While the harsher aspects of the astrology are still there, with Venus forming a T squared to Jupiter and Jupiter opposing Pluto, this brief golden yod brings us the harmony, and reset we need to break the patterns we've been repeating. The numerology for the Golden yods not only reflect the golden ratio, but they also add up to nines. Specifically: two planets are separated by a quintile (72°) and each of them forms bi-quintiles (144°) to a third planet (apex). 7+2 = 9 and 144 equals nine. Because quintiles and bi-quintiles are part of the “5th harmonic” in astrology, they are often associated with creativity, unique talent, and subtle/“magical” sorts of expression. As we close out the nine year of the snake, 2+0+2+5=9, this week of November gives us a nice glimpse of what we can anticipate coming towards the middle of 2026, which is a 10 year of new beginnings. Fasten your seatbelt because the endings are hard and fast in order to clear you out and prepare you for the new earth frequencies.
Thus November will prove to be a deeply transformational month from the get go. The Full Moon in Tuarus will help us get some stability as we use the earth energy to ground and transmute what we are releaseing. By November 20th we have a New Moon in Scorpio inviting us to go deep into introspection and self awareness. A supportive grand water trine is in play as the moon harmonizes with with Pluto, Saturn, Neptune, and Jupiter, but it also tightly aligns with retrograde Mercury and opposes Uranus. As you may notice, the cosmic rhythm feels a bit inverted as we enter these final two months of the year — beginning with full moons and closing each sign’s season with new moons. We had only a day of the Libra New Moon before crossing into Scorpio Season, and the upcoming Scorpio New Moon will also last just a day before we transition into Sagittarius. It is almost as if we are upside down and trying to climb out of these deep seated patterns to find the freedom on the horizon. Remember from the last blog about the transformation and transfiguration of Scorpio from scorpion under the still deep waters, transformed to the eagle, transfigured to the phoenix and finally ascended to the dragon.
Scorpio is associated with money matters, intimacy, control, power, and sharing. These issues will be in focus in the period of the dark moon just before the new moon which can deliver new beginnings and fresh starts. On November 14, Uranus returns to Taurus to revisit themes of stability, values, and grounding. Encourages reevaluation of material priorities. and good ol' Mercury retrograde will be occurring from November 9th to the 29th. This is almost a full month of retrograde energy during the holidays. To make matters more interesting, Thanksgiving, November 27th with the Sun in truth telling Sagittarius, could make gatherings with family and friends a "can you handle the truth?" party! Sagittarius season begins Nov. 21st. With Pluto still opposing Jupiter and Uranus back in Taurus opposing Mercury and Mars in Scorpio, this can be unexpected harsh, bold, explosive and brutal honesty! Full Moon in Taurus- Uranus is back in Earth!

Introducing the Mastery Series, studies in the Science of Alchemy. This 6 month journey is the next installment of the Lightbody Mystery School. This immersive training dives deeper into Lightbody teachings and builds on the foundations from our 2024 program. Please note, there is no prior experience necessary to take the course. This series is organized into three standalone modules (students may take one, two, or all three), each offering Yoga Alliance CEUs. Classes meet Thursday evenings, 6–9 PM PST, in person or online for eight consecutive weeks per module.
