Teacher Training Announcement- and the Astrological Weather Report

We are moving through a corridor of astrology that feels very dense, psychological, and catalytic. In recent classes I have spoke at length about the Aries new moon and the energy it carries. I have also touched upon the Human Design aspects of the current situation on the planet. Specifically as it relates to the upcoming epochal time shift we are entering during the latter part of 2026 and into 2027. In that context, we have been in what is known as the Cross of Planning since the 1600’s and we are about to enter the Cross of the Sleeping Phoenix. This is in complete alignment with the Western (Tropical) Astrology aspects.
At its core, the Cross of Planning is rooted in community structures, agreements, and social contracts that support long-term security and stability. It gave rise to the systems we’ve relied on for centuries—governments, banking, healthcare, education, pensions, and social safety nets. The underlying frequency has been simple: we survive by working together and planning for the future. This cycle has been deeply tied to trust in systems and in each other. But toward the end of this era, which is where we are now, many people are noticing the breakdown of those very structures—institutions weakening, trust in authority declining, and systems no longer feeling supportive or reliable. From a Human Design perspective, this isn’t random. It’s the natural deconstruction phase of a cycle coming to completion.
As we move into the Cross of the Sleeping Phoenix, beginning around 2027, the focus shifts in a very different direction. This new cycle is centered on individual energy, self-empowerment, and personal truth. The symbolism of the “Sleeping Phoenix” points to dormant power awakening within each person—a rebirth from within. The core theme becomes: I am here to live my truth, not to uphold the system. There is less emphasis on collective survival structures and more emphasis on self-direction and sovereignty. People become less willing to sacrifice themselves for the group, and more attuned to their own alignment. At the same time, institutions may continue to fragment or become less relevant, and support systems become more decentralized. Instead of relying on large external structures, people begin to lean more on personal networks and their own internal resources.
This cycle is also associated with a more empowered identity, linked in Human Design to the energy of raw life force and presence—acting in the moment from inner authority rather than long-term strategic planning. It’s more immediate, more embodied, and less about following predetermined structures. Human Design describes this shift as a mutation in consciousness, which means not everyone will transition smoothly. There can be tension between the old collective way of operating and this emerging individual way of being.
This is why the current moment can feel so intense. We are in the overlap between cycles—the old is dissolving while the new is not yet fully formed. You may notice systems breaking down without clear replacements, people stepping away from traditional roles, and a growing emphasis on self-development, spirituality, and personal sovereignty. There can be a real tension between the needs of the collective and the pull toward individual truth. For some, it feels disorienting or like a loss of structure. For others, it feels like an awakening.
A grounded way to understand this shift is simple: the past 400 years prioritized organized society and mutual agreements, while the next 400 years will prioritize individual alignment and personal truth. This doesn’t mean community disappears. It means community becomes choice-based rather than obligation-based, and relationships form through authentic resonance instead of duty or structure.
Given the work we do in this CommuniTea— Kundalini Yoga, sound healing, and consciousness practices, we are already very aligned with the themes of the Sleeping Phoenix. This cycle supports inner authority, energetic awareness, personal transformation, and sovereignty of consciousness. It tends to favor teachers who empower rather than control, experiences over rigid systems, and embodiment over ideology.
That is why we are delighted to introduce our Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training scheduled for the Fall of 2026. We are set to launch October 10. This means that on 10-10 in a 10 Year of New Beginnings, we start our journey.
This is a very unique teacher training that carries the Yoga Alliance Certification as well as many aspects you would not normally find in a yoga school teacher training course. These teachings go beyond, KRI and get deeper into the Aquarian Teacher aspect. They combine a unique combination of Lightbody Ascension Teachings, Crystal Frequencies, Mystery School knowledge, Sound Healing, Astrology, Numerology and more. We welcome all those who are called to this path. The course is offered online or in person. If you are called, please join us. Liminited in person spots are available. Astrological Weather Report.
The days leading up to the May 1 and the Full Moon in Scorpio are preparing us and our four lower bodies, (physical, emotional, mental and spiritual) to enter deeper territory. Scorpio is ruled by Pluto and Mars. As a water sign, it goes deep beneath surface-level where patterns reveal themselves through pressure. Pluto, the ruler is now transiting the sign of Aquarius. Pluto can represent our greatest fears and also death. It is often associated with the Phoenix rising energy and Aquarius is about innovation, technology, humanity, groups, community organizations, institutions and more. Thus we are back to the themes of the shift of epochs from the Cross of Planning to the Cross of the Sleeping Phoenix. With that we will definitely need to focus on the nervous system, and the relationship areas of our lives right now. Here is how it plays out:
On Monday, April 20 — Mercury is conjunct Mars and Saturn • Juno is conjunct Pluto – This can translate to mental pressure and relationship intensity. There can be a sense of heaviness or paralysis here—like the mind is hitting a wall as nothing is making sense since mercury’s last conjunction with Neptune over the weekend. Mercury with Mars and Saturn compresses thought, speech, and decision-making. Words may feel stuck, or when they come out, they carry weight, frustration, or finality.
At the same time, Juno conjunct Pluto brings intensity into committed relationships, agreements, and power dynamics. This is where deeper truths begin to surface like: Who holds the power? Where has power been given away? And What is binding vs. transforming?
There can be a feeling of despair or emotional gravity, but it’s not without purpose. It is showing where something has reached its limit.
Tuesday, April 21 — Venus is Conjunct Algol (Medusa) which might translate to Facing the Shadow in Relationships
Venus aligns with the fixed star Algol—often symbolized as Medusa’s severed head. This is archetypally connected to feminine rage, suppression, and the fear of what happens when truth is seen too clearly. This can bring up: intense emotional reactions, fear-based projections in love or connection and themes around rejection, betrayal, or being “cut off”. Things may feel extreme, but this transit often magnifies perception. What matters is not reacting immediately, but recognizing what is being revealed beneath the reaction.
Wednesday, April 22 — Earth Day • Sun has entered Taurus • Lyrid Meteor Shower • Moon conjunct Jupiter. This is where the emotions can feel expanded. There could also be a temporary lift of optimism here. The Moon aligning with Jupiter can bring hope, openness, and a sense of possibility.
But Jupiter also expands everything—including expectations. What arises here has potential, but it requires grounding (Taurus). Without structure, this energy can scatter. The Lyrid Meteor Shower (comet debris appearing to come from Lyra) adds another layer of cosmic perspective—a reminder of the larger cycles we are part of. We all came from Lyra. This is the cradle to higher consciousness, dimensions 11 & 12. Join us Wednesday for a grounding earth based class and meditation. The class is available either on person or online (recorded session available after). Sign up
Thursday, April 23 — Venus conjunct Uranus feels Sudden Shifts in Love and DirectionThis is where things can turn unexpectedly. Venus the planet of love, money creative projects with sudden, earth shaking, innovative Uranus often brings sudden realizations in relationships or changes in attraction or desire. Here we can experience breakthroughs that disrupt old patterns especially because we are at the anorectic degree. What has been building emotionally may now shift direction quickly. This is evolutionary and may not feel stable, but it is moving energy out of stagnation.
Friday, April 24 — Venus conjunct the Pleiades. First Quarter Moon feels like Tension Requires ActionThe First Quarter Moon creates internal tension that demands movement. Something that began at the New Moon April 17th, is now meeting resistance or needing adjustment. Venus on the Pleiades adds a layer of sensitivity, love and emotional depth, sometimes even grief or longing. There can be beauty here, but also a sense that something is difficult to fully integrate. Watch what is unfolding.
Saturday, April 25 — The Big Day!!! Uranus’s ingress into Gemini, after its long Taurus transit that began in 2018 and briefly dipped into Gemini in 2025 before returning to Taurus. Sun square Pluto looks like a huge shift in Power Confrontation and Regeneration. This is one of the most intense points in the build-up.
The Sun square Pluto can bring power struggles, control dynamics, external breakdowns or pressure and confrontation with the shadow self. What appears to be collapsing externally is often initiating internal transformation. There is a clear message here, the misuse of power will be revealed (in others—or in the self). The work is to stay conscious and ask yourself, Where am I trying to control? Where am I reacting from fear? Where is transformation being asked for? Kindness, restraint, and awareness are essential here.
But even bigger that this is the once in a lifetime transit of Uranus into Gemini. a major shift that hasn’t happened in about 84 years. Uranus carries the energy of rebellion, innovation, and sudden change. In mythology, Uranus was overthrown by his own children, and that theme of disruption and breakthrough is part of its astrological signature. It’s the planet of shake-ups, wake-ups, and radical shifts forward.
Gemini governs communication, information, technology, and how we connect. It’s curious, fast-moving, and mentally driven. When Uranus enters Gemini, we can expect rapid evolution in communication, transportation, education, and community structures. Perhaps flying cars? New technologies and ways of connecting will accelerate, and the pace of change will increase significantly. AI will be a big factor. Look for an increase and huge technological breakthroughs. This is a long transit (about 7 years), so the full impact unfolds over time, but it marks the beginning of a major shift in how we think, communicate, live and move through the world.
Sunday, April 26 — Mercury quintile Pluto • Sun quintile Jupiter • Venus sextile Neptune • Mercury square Jupiter • Venus semisquare Jupiter could feel like opportunity plus expansion with Discernment. After all the intensity, there is movement. This day brings us insight and deeper understanding as well as opportunities for growth. Mercury square Jupiter can exaggerate or overextend thinking. Venus-Jupiter tension can amplify desire or expectation. Venus sextile Neptune is lovely and adds softness, compassion, and spiritual connection. Join us for Kundalini class at 9:30am to harness that energy.

The Scorpio Full Moon- May 1
The emotional body becomes the focal point. and we moves into deeper integration. This Full Moon opens the deep chamber and brings us into the still waters of the subconscious, where power, desire, fear, memory, and secrecy have been quietly shaping the inner landscape. With Pluto in Aquarius pressing on this lunation and preparing to station retrograde just days later, what has been hidden in the emotional and subconscious body may rise for recognition. This is a moon of psychological honesty, shadow revelation, and reclaiming power from the places where it has become bound up in silence, manipulation, or fear. The work is to stay present in the dark waters without collapsing into them — to meet what’s there, breathe with it, and allow buried energy to become conscious, clean, and available for Phoenix Rising transformation. It draws awareness into subconscious emotional patterns including sexual energy and where it has been suppressed or distorted. Power dynamics in relationships come into play as does fear, control, and the instinct to protect or dominate.
